Aluminum siding was used throughout the house.

We used glass block and tumbled marble in both of the baths.
The idea to use broken marble for the vanities and shower stalls was because this size marble was reasonably priced but the smaller pieces weren't, so I improvised and broke the tiles with a hammer.!  Sometimes it pays to be a mosaic artist.  This gives the bathrooms both a rustic and artsy look, don't you think ?  "Necesity is the Mother of Invention".

The nice part about this room is there is a wall to wall closet (out of view) on your right and sliding glass doors that lead out to the garden.  Would you believe that this headboard, not in this condition of course, was a curbside treasure!
