This bamboo set I inherited from a friend, it must be from the 70's, I just changed the pillows with different textured fabrics, patchwork style. The old Spanish door was a curbside treasure, isn't it beautiful? It has since been striped and is used as an outdoor table in another area of the house. You can see the recycled telephone polls which really add to the rustic look.

I thought you might like to see some of the steps taken to make the table. The following two pictures are the design layout using a wooden base tabletop. The layout 2 photo is still without any grout.

The following two photos are the close ups of the design. As you can see, in pique assiette anything and everything goes…colored glass beads, leopard glass square coasters, ornamental wooden furniture pieces that were later painted and a wooden chinese-y gold trim throughout. More is more!
